How do you like to process your logs? I usually split in halves and then cut to length, seal, and store. I just sharpened up my saw.

Update on the chopping block: I was planning 4 legs because of the length, but ran out of suitable pieces. I decided to turn it over and take a look, and three legs, even with the holes angled for 4 is pretty stable. Should I move the one leg more central and just go with the tripod design?

The city trimmed a tree next to my apartment and I picked out some pieces I thought might be carveable. I also grabbed two larger pieces that I thought could make a chopping block. Would it be better to just put come legs on the piece front left, or flatten out one side of the largest piece?
